Try this if u hav problem watchin' anime

Ok guys, this is a guide to teach you how to watch the anime that is provided on this site. A lot of the new community here have problems watching the anime here for for this reason alone, you don't have the right/any codec installed. Its a simple process that is definitely worth while. First of all, to watch the files that are here you are going to have to install K-lite codec pack, it is exactly what it says, a codec pack. You need codecs so your computer can understand the files you want to play (a.k.a the anime).
This may also come in handy for other files that aren't from here

First download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 6.5 found here

Ok so you have downloaded it good, now lets start the installation process

Start the installation process, when you first start this from some reason or another you might have the xvid codec already installed, it will say there might be some conflict and ask you to uninstall it if you want, I've never had issues with any conflictions between the two so I will simply say leave it, if you want to uninstall you may its just an ordinary process. If you do have the warning it will come up as the picture shows below.

Next will come the regular startup installation page. Simply click next.

Now it will give you options for installation, simple or advanced, you will select advanced and then click next.

You will see the destination page, if you have ever installed something you know just to hit install rotfl, so hit next once again to continue. Now this is going to bring you to the components to install. You are going to go to the drop down box where you see Profile 1: Default and you will scroll down and select Profile 7: Lots of Stuff.

Now you will scroll down to the very bottom of the components to tools, you will deselect everything but Haali muxer and FourCC changer.

You will scroll up some and you will see Vorbis unchecked under ACM audio codecs and above that in the next section Divx 3.11 select both. Then you will click next.

Now the Select Startup folder page will appear, you can choose if you want one or not it doesn't affect the codec installation.
The Select Additional Tasks page will follow. Here you will make sure to select what I have in the pics below, the list is to long to type and I'm sure it will be easier to just see and copy.

Now that you are done with that -.-' you will hit next and continue, you will be brought to the DXVA Acceleration page, just check the top box and it next.

You will now choose file associations, just leave media player classic checked alone and hit next. You will have to choose what file associations you want for MPC now *media player classic* To make it simple you want all of them for each, at the bottom of the page just hit Select all Video and then Select all Audio, then you can click next.

You will be taken to the speaker configuration page, if you dont know what speakers you have just choose 2.0 stero If you have a sound system you will know what you need to choose for optimal sound quality. Now click next again.

You will be on the final installation page, simply click install now. When it finishes download it will offer you to configure different things dont click any of them, now choose finish and you are done ^^
